Medical: Video Mini-Documentaries

An Exceptional Hospital Tells Impactful Truths with Real-life Video Stories

Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital is known in the San Francisco Bay Area for incredible trauma services – but several other specialties also deserve the spotlight. The goal with this assignment was to bring other specialties of this exceptional hospital to life by identifying stories of recovery, hope or lifestyle that have been made possible through the work at ZSFGH.

Hotbed has been working with the talented Browne/Musser Agency for years to bring these stories to the forefront in a multi-faceted way. The focus of Hotbed’s work centered on mini-documentary videos told through “a day in the life” approach that follows patients through their day as they also describe how their lives were changed by ZSFGH.

Efficient, Effective Video Vignettes

Stories are told through a ‘day in the life’ approach, that follows patients through their day as they also describe the way their lives were changed by ZSFGH. Hotbed shot each story over the course of one day – with patients showing and telling how they overcome staggering odds with the help of their hospital and its care team, and seeing their vibrant lives in action.
